Two Enterprise High School students were injured while working on a project in woodshop class on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and had to be taken to a Redding hospital for treatment, Principal Ryan Johnson said.
“Two students sustained injuries to their feet and required medical attention. At the time of the incident, students were under supervision, and this was an unfortunate accident,” Johnson said in a statement he emailed to the Record Searchlight.
Due to privacy reasons, Johnson declined to give the extent of the students’ injuries.
Johnson said the students were working on a wood beam when the accident happened during morning classes.
