NORTH LIBERTY, IOWA — Wood Pro Expo Lancaster (WPE), the only professional woodworking event in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, is now 100% owned by CCI Media, LLC, publishers of Woodworking Network, and FDMC and Closets and Organized Storage magazines.
Tim Fixmer, President/CEO said, “In January, our partner of 13 years, Lewis Goldman chose to retire from the business and sell his share in the event to us. On Monday of this week, we finalized the transaction to officially transfer Lewis’ share of the event to us. We have had a good 13-year run together and I thank Lewis for his dedication and hard work to make the event what it is today.
Kim LeBel, CCI Media’s Executive Director – Events, will take over all show logistics, and Fixmer will assume the selling role going forward.
Goldman, in an email to exhibitors and show prospects, thanked those who have helped grow the Expo. “I am happy to announce that I have officially retired and am no longer the point person for Wood Pro Expo Lancaster,” he said. “It has been a pleasure to work with you over the years to build the show into the success it has become.”
The event, which draws attendees from Pennsylvania, as well as from surrounding woodworking-rich states, including New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, New York, Ohio, and Massachusetts, features a show floor displaying a range of machinery, tooling, software, services, and more.
Additionally, the show schedules a full slate of educational conference sessions and also features the Running Machine Pavilion. The pavilion gives participants a comprehensive understanding of the machines and systems on display, and allows them to see the machinery under fire during live demonstrations.
The next WPE trade fair will be held October 22-23, 2026, at the Spooky Nook Sports Center, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
