Not built from a template: Woodshop Master is a PCG platform powered by FireFlight, built for real woodshop workflows

March 31, 2026 | By Woodworkers News Staff

Woodshop Master is positioning itself as an operations platform built for woodshops that live and die by deadlines, reputation, and clean installs. The platform is a Phoenix Consultants Group (PCG) product, powered by FireFlight Data Systems.

The message is simple: stop running the shop on scattered tools. Woodshop Master describes “one unified system – every module connected,” keeping a job tied together from Quote to Contract to Project, with inventory, purchasing, work orders, and costing working in the same record.

That matters because most expensive mistakes are not bad cuts. They are bad hand offs. A detail approved in the office never reaches the floor. A hardware note sits in a text thread. A cut plan gets built from an old dimension. When the shop is busy, those gaps show up late, and they show up loud.

In it’s published feature outline, Woodshop Master emphasizes shop-specific structure and execution. Jobs can be broken down into components, pieces, and assemblies. Teams can reuse libraries and templates to speed up repeat builds. CRM stays tied to quotes, contracts, and projects so customer details do not drift. Work orders are designed to be clear and trackable, with a dashboard view so production does not depend on sticky notes or “asking the right person.”

The platform also highlights operational modules that support daily shop control: real-time inventory, purchasing and suppliers, cut optimization to reduce waste, preventive maintenance scheduling, finance tools connected to the work being built, and dashboards that pull visibility across projects, work orders, inventory, purchasing, equipment, and finance.

Woodshop Master is not framed as generic business software with woodworking added on. It is framed as a shop-first system meant to replace the usual patchwork of spreadsheets, disconnected apps, and manual handoffs that make rework feel unavoidable.
