The program eliminates the “return-trip” headache by bringing every mechanical aspect of your machine back to factory standards in one go.
The program includes:
- Full internal replacement and adjustment of all internal components, including bearings, belts, and wear parts (motor replacement included in full packages).
- Elimination of secondary failures through comprehensive system renewal.
- Restoration to peak operating performance, with machines returned in fully rebuilt condition.
- A 1-year factory warranty on all renewals
The program applies to a wide range of ShopSmith equipment, including:
- Headstocks
- Belt sanders
- Band saws
- Strip sanders
- Jointers
- Dust collectors
- Scroll saws

Specific renewal options include:
- Greenie headstocks: Upgrade to a conventional headstock.
- Conventional headstocks: Full renewal, with or without motor replacement.
- PowerPro 1: Full renewal, with automatic upgrade to PowerPro 2 if the screen is defective.
- PowerPro 2: Full renewal, including motor or power box replacement as required.
Renewals focus on mechanical performance. Cosmetic components such as knobs, handles, and covers are not included but may be replaced for an additional charge if needed.
Program Renewals include shipping an empty box to you with all packaging materials, transit of your equipment to ShopSmith, and the final return shipment delivering your renewed machine.
